Ninos Karis Property Consultants (Karisestates) is a Nicosia based firm of Registered Estate Agents and Property Valuers, (Registered Number 046 and 982).
We were established in 1983 with the aim of providing both business and private clients with a comprehensive range of real estate solutions encompassing sales, lettings and consultancy. The agency was founded by Ninos Karis who studied law in London in 1965 and worked with large firms of developers and chartered surveyors prior to setting-up the agency.
The nature of the service we wanted to offer was one that brought together the personal, accessible and supportive approach you would associate with a small firm with the levels of expertise and knowledge you would expect of a large one.
In September 2019, Michelle Kari has joined the team at the firm, enhancing the services and level of consultancy provided offering feasibility studies, valuations, property due diligence, asset management, project management, amongst others.
Michelle became a Chartered Surveyor in Oxford, trained with Savills Plc working for 7 years in their Athens, London and Oxford Offices before returning to Cyprus in 2007 to head the property department of SFS Group Plc for 14 years. At SFS Group, apart from managing a large property portfolio with property assets worth of in excess of €200m, she was actively involved in setting up a property fund which was then listed in the CY Stock Exchange and which traded exclusively over 100 properties within the walled old city of Nicosia all of special architectural character and preserved listed properties. Michelle was heading up the management of the fund and the properties which were renovated and managed with the enhancement of rentals and maintenance management from Karisestates.
Michelle is also a member of the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), of ETEK (The Technical Chamber of Cyprus) in the field of Property Valuations, member of the Cyprus Association of Property Valuers and of the Cyprus Real Estate Council (SEK).
We have recently also launched a new line of operation namely Ledra Estates, which is a property consultancy firm dealing exclusively with historic listed properties in terms of sales, rentals, management, refurbishment and general consultancy services.
